With the current acceptance of gays into the mainstream I feel that we are forgetting about a past that had its own sense of community. I'll be posting some of my own work and I hope others will contribute their own experiences.

I spend as much time as I can sketching.
Most of the time they're just doodles. Similar faces. Similar poses. But occasionally I'll hit upon a new idea that would not have come if I wasn't keeping my hand going. I sit in front of the TV with my sketchbook. I take it on the train. I even carry it with me into restaurants. Any time I'm not interacting with another human being I have my sketchbook at the ready
